but much more fun. Highly recommended for aspiring comic book writers,
artists & those of us who view comic books as an art form.
Lord of the Dead by Tom Holland
Drawing Blood by Poppy Z. Brite
The Alienist by Caleb Carr - Well researched. A serial killer
is leaving mangled corpses in public places in 19th century New York. Leads
take the alienist all over the city: to brothels dealing in young boys,
to the tenement rooftops of poor immigrants. Creepy, scary, heartbreaking
& suspenseful.
Bridge of Birds by Barry Hughart
Doom that Came To Sarnath by H.P. Lovecraft
Trail of Cthulhu by August Derleth - Mixes Lovecraft & Poe,
with a globe-spanning adventure plot to rival an Indiana Jones movie! Couldn't
put the book down.
